Inside Wild Minds
Hi, I’m Courtney— educator, researcher, and founder of Wild Minds.
I hold a BA in Psychology and Biology and an MA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Chicago, with additional training in learning & instructional design. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with students across 50+ countries and collaborated with multiple school districts and families across the U.S. I also spent six years in India conducting research and teaching online, supporting learners across diverse contexts. In total, I’ve worked with over 7,000 students.
At Wild Minds, I blend executive function coaching, evidence-based strategies, and creative learning design informed by my own research and experience as a Wild Mind myself. At its core, learning is grounded in emotional attunement —states that shape student behavior and learning. Drawing from frameworks such as rasa theory and cognitive science, I help students build awareness of their internal states, reduce cognitive overload, and access learning with confidence. I enjoy working with learners whose minds move fast, wander wide, or sometimes get stuck — students with ADHD, anxiety, or simply those who struggle to focus, stay organized, or engage with traditional systems. Wild Minds are full of potential, and my goal is to help students harness their natural strengths, build focus and confidence, and achieve success on their own terms.
