Behind Wild Minds

Hi, I’m Courtney!

I created Wild Minds for the weird, brilliant, burnt-out kids (and adults) who’ve had enough of worksheets and fake productivity apps. Wild Minds is for learners who need something different. I’ve worked for over 10 years as an educator, researcher, curriculum designer, and executive function coach — but what I’m really good at is helping people figure out how their brain works and building systems that actually stick.

I’ve lived and studied all over the world, picked up a few languages along the way, and built curriculum for students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, homeschooled, overachieving, burned out,  “school doesn’t work for me” students, and every kind of academic funk. Some speak three languages. Some know every dinosaur. Some haven’t opened a planner in six months.

I’ve taught virtually and in person, across countries and time zones, and I’ve built curriculum for kids the system doesn’t know what to do with. These are my people — and I still love working with them!

I hold a master’s degree from the University of Chicago, and I’ve helped students prepare for college, write personal statements, and manage the stress that comes with high academic expectations — without turning them into robots .I’ve studied brain science, classical Indian arts, and paleoanthropology. Basically, if it’s curious or chaotic, I’m probably into it — and so are most of my students.

Whether you need coaching, a club, or just someone who understands why you haven’t opened your planner since February… I’m here for that.
